Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 May 2026 (beta)
SynapseR is a clinical research platform built by GAMTpedia Limited, registered in Dublin, Ireland. By creating an account during the beta, you agree to the following.
Beta status
SynapseR is in active beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. The platform is free during the beta. A formal, lawyer-reviewed terms-of-service document will be published before SynapseR exits beta and begins charging.
Intended use
SynapseR is methodology infrastructure for designing clinical studies. It is intended for use by qualified clinical researchers. It is not a medical device. Outputs from SynapseR — including power calculations, methods sections, statistical analysis plans, and protocol drafts — are co-pilot artefacts that require human expert review and approval before use. The platform does not, and is not intended to, replace clinical judgment, methodological expertise, or institutional ethics review.
Your responsibility
- Do not enter identifiable patient data into the platform during the beta.
- You retain ownership of the study content you create. By using the platform you grant GAMTpedia Limited a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process that content as needed to deliver the service.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any study designed using SynapseR meets the regulatory, ethics, and institutional review requirements applicable to your jurisdiction.
Disclaimers
- SynapseR is provided “as is” during the beta. No warranty, express or implied, is given.
- Outputs are generated using AI components which can produce errors. Verify all substantive content against the underlying source papers, statistical computations, and reporting framework before relying on it.
- GAMTpedia Limited will not be liable for decisions made based solely on SynapseR outputs without expert human review.
Account
- You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the platform, violate these terms, or attempt to extract data in ways that harm other users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
